Province Issues Warning for Bird Owners

An avian flu virus has made its way into the Atlantic, having already caused losses in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

As a result, the Province of New Brunswick has issued a warning for residents with bird feeders or backyard poultry (chickens) to be aware of and limit contact with wild birds, and to report any suspicious sickness or death of birds to the Province.
